We installed a door chime so we could hear when Ron went outside.
Ducks ate their feed I got them so that's going to be a drop in their food bill. PM showers, better hurry up and get the feed in the pole barn. Plenty of machinery to move it, the only machine that can put it where I want it exactly is currently down.
Got 4 tons so far, going for another 4 to 5 tons come next week. At this rate I might as well put a grain bin up, oh wait I got a few still. Grab what you can before they run out this week, after that got to wait till next year for more.

Different note, my dad made it home and using the ramp I built, without it he would be stuck indoors dying away. Problem is if left unattended he will end up doing stuff he shouldn't, step mom woke up to him mowing the lawn on the riding lawn mower. I would of like to have been there to seen that one as he struggled to get out the electric wheel chair and onto the lawn mower

Up at 5:30, normal work week time, so okay. Not coherent, threw fresh coffee grounds on top of yesterday's, oops.

Sitting here, coffee at hand. I'm stiff from yesterday, but no pain, which is a blessing. Church this morning, then I will attempt to finish the hoop coop build this afternoon. I am appreciating the cooler weather, even though it's a bit raw and chilly. Once the heat rolls in it's almost impossible to do any strenuous projects.

Oh, and my eldest granddaughter is 9 today! Wow, where does the time go?

Boone woke me this morning disgruntled because he wanted cookies for breakfast. He booped until I finally acknowledged him, then began bringing me gifts. Anything in the house that isn’t nailed down is now stacked beside me. At least he doesn’t expect them for free and is willing to “work” for them.
Yesterday he carried in a frying pan!! 🫨

Did you finish them yet? I found the tv show to be funny and enjoyable (and did i mention funny?), but nothing like the books, which were a tad dark and adult for tv adaptation at the time...and not my favorites, but i still read them so I guess they were addicitive too. As a spoiler: I felt like the author could have done more with the world he set up but took the lazy route and stopped short. The world building in that series was the strong point rather than the plot, imo.
And @Alaskan the tv series is awful in the sense that it was a bad adaptation. And it wasn’t run in order (when I saw it). I liked the actors but the writing for the show wasn’t the best. I have listened to Peace Talks but I’m saving further books for when relatives move in. I suspect I’ll need the escape ;)
I think I’ll revisit the show too.

Hey guys -- my DGD will be 23 this month. Just wait! 😲🫢

Coffee is over. Want to go out BUT, have a loaf of bread in machine. Another few min to wait. Then I can be out. Need to cook up eggs. Egg salad, potato salad, ham -- home all week for lunches. Need to use up flour & replace with newer. Been checking pantry & non consumables for any needs. Want to get ready for garden, canning and fencing time sinks with a clear head. 👍 Bread peeped, done! On to next adventure.
