Soooo I am getting into more 'trouble' I am picking up two Nigerian Dwarf bucks tomorrow. They are GORGEOUS and will make an awesome addition. I know they need to be separate from my girls. They are just over a month old, if I remember correctly bucks COULD mate at 7 weeks although it is not a good idea. Am I correct to immediately put them in their own separate pen? Also, I assume there are some who keep bucks together? Or is it better to keep them separate? (Would not be my preferred but I am no goat master)

You are correct that they can breed at 7 weeks and yes, you can keep the bucks together. I have an Alpine, La Mancha, and Nigi all in the same pen. I will separate out the Nigi when rut starts, he is just too small to fight with the big boys.

I already want to get another goat and am about to do some rabbit trading. Lol. Not to mention my turkey eggs in the incubator that I pray hatch successfully
I just got seven more sarama bantams, and I think one just started laying regularly

Are any of them tested for anything?

Keep in mind whatever you bring in it is bringing in everything that was on that farm. Bringing in too many animals at once from too many different places is really a disaster waiting to happen.

It isn't that I am not happy for you, just seen this before... often ends up badly.

I always quarantine new animals. When I was a kid I brought in a new duck and just put it with all my others. The very next day I had two dead hens... And it was because of a respitory virus that hit my ducks hard. She showed no signs of sickness, but was the cause of two deaths and a lot of medical expenses.
Learned my lesson at about 7 years old....
