Could it be the start of labor?

I can get my fingers almost right around my does tail head. Today she's been really quiet. She will wander off to be by herself and then go back to her buddies. A short while later she will go off to herself again. Her girly parts are definitely swollen and she's going between keeping her tail straight up in the air, to wagging it, then straight up again. I don't see any kind of discharge.

Definitely signs of labor, but not necessarily that it will happen right away. What does her udder look like?

Anything yet? What about udder boom (enlarging quickly)? Udder boom doesn't always happen when birthing is eminent, but is pretty common. Be sure to read the thread at the beginning of this topic concerning birthing, as it's wonderfully done and very informative.:pop

Gah! Still nothing! I've read anything and everything I can find on kidding including the pinned post. Thelma and Louise are certainly having fun, I'm sure.

I thought Louise was funny today, and sat looking out my kitchen window for about two hours just watching her. She was off to herself, and very quiet. She's normally the bossy one lol. Then she just perked up and went back to hanging out with Thelma and Lucy.

I thought waiting for a horse to foal was bad! This is torture!

I know exactly how you feel Stephanie, as I have no earthly idea when any of my does is due. Just have to keep good watch and have patience. Yeah, right! As I'm sitting here typing this I glance out the window and I can see all the goats and nothing different is going on with them at all! Drives me crazy! I would go out and sit with them but the wind is just ferocious here today and it makes it feel much colder and I'm just like a goat, I hate being in the wind. I guess I'll just have to watch from afar today. :barnie

Well, miss Thelma is in quite the mood today! Her udder is fuller (is that even a word?). And my normally affectionate goat doesn't want my to lay a hand on her! She's also head butting Louise a lot which is not normal behavior for her.
