cow ate soured hay

i bought a roll of hay that had soured and my cow ate it now hey has the scours. i can tell he don't feel good is there anything i can give him to make the scours go away and make him feel better. I'am new to cows and all this can you please help me out.

they rolled the hay up when it was still green before it dried out and it went threw a heat and molded

Just a note, cows are females, not males. ;) So your calf is probably a steer, right?

Typically an animal with diarrhea is one that gets dehydrated quickly. Get some electrolytes in him right away.

I would stop feeding that kind of hay and get some better stuff, first of all, because you could end up killing your cow or calf or whatever if they continue to eat the moldy hay.

I took the hay out and seen a vet. He gave him electrolytes and a shot of antibiotics. Thanks
