Cream???

I have a recipe I want to try for a tomato-cream sauce. It calls for heavy cream. I have a jar of cream I have been collecting from what I've skimmed off the top of my goat's milk. I know there is heavy whipping cream, light cream, cream, etc. You think I can use my cream I have saved in place of the heavy cream it asks for with yummy results? It's is really nice and thick almost like marshmallow cream.

OMG!!!! They did thank me! It is delicious. Put it over some wild mushroom ravioli. I tried to take a picture but it didn't look nearly as good as it tastes. Especially since it's in a tupperware bowl cause I made it to take to work for dinner tonight! It's a super easy recipie I found just substituted my skimmed cream for the heavy cream.
