To all who helped:
The wormer is working miracles! The doe (her name's Olive) who was laying around all day, gazing off into the distance is now running like a kid again! She comes up for petting and loves having her long hair brushed.

She is just doing amazing already, i will continue to treat for the remaining 3 days, but it makes me so happy to see her doing so well already.

Parasites can really drag them down... the worms literally suck the blood and energy and life out of them.

I put out between 150 and 300 for a vet trip to our farm.... Mostly for pregnancy checks. But it is just 100 for the trip alone. We try to have them do as much as possible when there. I also call their office and find out when they are going to be in the area... there are a couple of dairies that they do monthly herd checks at; and I schedule a stop on that same day so they will give me a little break on the mileage charge.

Update: it ended up being tapeworms…
Olive is doing amazing, has already gained a ton of weight (muscle, not fat) up to what should be her normal (or very nearly there) in RECORD TIME. She has been trimmed of all lingering mats and dead, dry hair (due to deficiencies in her diet with her previous owner she had an extremely dull coat and a nonexistent undercoat, ZERO protection from the cold) the new coat and undercoat are growing in thick, black and shiny as all get out.
Olive is home, her forever home, and she will be well taken care of here. This is her today…

She’s real happy now, she will become a mommy herself after being bred sometime next month or February
