Day 141 (max). Lighter one is likely slightly farther along. Hoping to not see babies until April 1 or later. The ligaments still present. Their udders are looking good, but not tight, still soft/slightly firm (like jello). Some discharge, but nothing new in appearance. Getting the birth bin ready with supplies. Not sure how many babies, but they don’t seem huge to me…I’m not expecting more than twins as both are first fresheners. Darker one is skittish so it’s harder to check her. Lighter one was perfectly fine getting her hind end and udder shaved.
