Just did a quick Internet search... Boy is it hard to find anything about them! But what I read said that they usually mature to butcher weight around a year. So no, they wouldn't be the same size as a standard pig. Just like a Guinea hog wouldn't be!

I don't know if butchering at larger than 250 is a breed thing either... I did read (in passing, truth fully I didn't spend much time due to the tiny phone screen lol), that some people let them mature beyond that because they want more fat for either flavor or because they use the lard.

I would have to more research to add more.

Yes, finding info on them is quite difficult.

My pigs were half Berkshire and half Large Black, both are heritage breeds, but put on weight faster then the Mangalitsa. I understand the desire to grow out this pig to full weight. But this animal is dangerous and needs to go.
