I live in southern Delaware and raise chickens right now. I will hopefully be starting rabbits this spring and goats in the fall. Anyone in my area? Even mainland Maryland or Norfolk, VA way?

Thanks!

Hi all! Thanks for responding, I enjoyed looking at the websites. I am seeing that lots of folk have myotonic goats and am seeing more kinder goats, they look interesting. Can anyone tell me why myotonic are so popular? What I have read about the kinder look really good for a smaller meat/milk goat.

Aggieterpkatie - you are not too far from me, what kind of animals do you have?

I've got numerous chickens, an Oberhasli doe, a Romney ewe, and a Southdown ewe. Oh yeah, and 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 stepkids. And a husband. :D

I see in your sig that you're looking to get into rabbits. I'm thinking about raising some meat rabbits this spring! We've only got an acre, but we're trying produce as much of our own food as possible. The goat will provide milk, the lambs will be for the freezer, we have eggs, and we raise broilers. I was thinking rabbits would be a nice addition to the freezer. We also have a big garden.
