I saw this on another thread. We do a lot with Aquaponics. I would be glad to answer any questions or help get you started. Since you are in Texas, you can raise a much better selection of fish in your systems!When we were talking to the extension agent, we asked about aquaponics.

Oooh! We have been talking about doing some "day trips", since we can't take vacations, due to lack of funds and not having anyone to care for the livestock.We went to the fish hatchery in Athens on day on a whim. It was a wonderful day trip and very informative. HUGE fish in their aquariums! And even a tram ride around the grounds. A good place to take a picnic lunch and just enjoy being there.
