I am no expert on udder attachment but for capacity I would be happy with that for a FF..Very happy.

Can you get a side shot of the udder that shows the front attachement?

First off, is she walking any better?

Your doe does not look under conditioned in the picture, she looks pretty good so I don't see any danger in cutting back on grain with her. Google "body condition goats" and you will see a demonstration on how to score condition from 1-5, or there may be a thread on this site.

Her udder looks good for a first freshner, very nice.

Well, I think the cold water does help, but I think it will be a very slow process. Her front feet weren't near as bad, but they were a little, and now she is walking normally on those. Her back feet are still pretty bad, but I do think it helped.
