You can worm with safeguard at 1cc/10 lbs (3-4 times the suggested dose) for three days in a row. Or you can get injectable ivermectin and give her 2cc/100 lbs orally; not injected. If the worms are really bad treat again in 10 days. Check the inside of her lower eyelid and see what color it is; it should be nice and pink. There are other kinds of worms but Barberpole (Haemonchus contortus ) worms are really common and will cause her eyelid membrane to turn very pale.

I am with @Goat Whisperer - I'd be looking for cocci as well as parasites. Dewormers won't do anything for cocci.

I was going to run the fecal myself, but I have only done it once before. So I think that we will just bring the sample to the vet clinic to have it done for us.

This is the best way to learn. You can look and see if what you find lines up with what your vet finds
