You can worm with safeguard at 1cc/10 lbs (3-4 times the suggested dose) for three days in a row. Or you can get injectable ivermectin and give her 2cc/100 lbs orally; not injected. If the worms are really bad treat again in 10 days. Check the inside of her lower eyelid and see what color it is; it should be nice and pink. There are other kinds of worms but Barberpole (Haemonchus contortus ) worms are really common and will cause her eyelid membrane to turn very pale.

I was going to run the fecal myself, but I have only done it once before. So I think that we will just bring the sample to the vet clinic to have it done for us.

Do both :)

This is the best way to learn. You can look and see if what you find lines up with what your vet finds :)
