I just got into breeding rabbits I have 2 NZW does I believe one is a cross I bought them as bred does one has kindled a litter of 7 the other has yet to kindle. I don't currently have a buck but a lady has offered to give me a dutch buck would he be suitable to breed to my does? I'm breeding mostly for meat but I may sell a few as pets here & there. Should I take the dutch buck & use him or not?

I don't see why not. I started out with mixed breeds and slowly have been phasing them out for purebreds. I don't think I'd be where I am now with my rabbits without the mixes though. A dutch would probably put less meat on the babies, but would be good for dual meat/pet purposes.

I have a Dutch male, a new Zealand doe, and chinchilla doe and buck. We haven't tried the itch with the does as far as I know. We had a female Dutch to breed him with. He is a lot smaller than the rest, but he might pull it off. The litters we have now are bigger than him. So it'd work, but they would be a little smaller than usual. I'll give it a shot and get back to you.

Yea, you can breed them , however using the dutch will only be going BACKWARDS in meat production and INCREASING your costs of production.

As you can see from my avatar, I have Dutch, at least for now. Dutch, while smaller, do have a very good meat to bone ratio, and I see no reason not to use him.
Good luck!
