I have a little doe who was bred for the first time a week ago. Today when I went to feed, I noticed that she had taken all the straw and piled it in a corner of her hutch.
She was also carrying straw around in her mouth.

Is this normal so early in a pregnancy? I'm not even sure at this point if she is pregnant. Her mother nested a week before she kindled.

My does dont have access to straw till time to kindle so I dont have any experience with your question. I have learned that with rabbits they all have their little quirks and normal is relative to each rabbit. :)
