Easter is just around the corner, bringing thoughts of spring, renewal, and of course—adorable animals like bunnies, chicks, and lambs! For those of us who care for animals, this season can be a busy but exciting time. Whether you're welcoming new spring babies, setting up festive farm displays, or simply enjoying the change in seasons, Easter brings plenty of opportunities to celebrate.

How do you incorporate Easter into your farm or home? Do you have traditions involving your animals? Are you raising any Easter chicks or rabbits this year? Let’s chat about how this holiday ties into our love for animals!

Easter is a religious hoiday for our family. Better than Christmas in some ways because there is more emphasis on the actual holiday meaning and less on gifts, etc.

Easter is also auction time for us. We start taking lambs to the stockyards for the various holidays. One to 2 weeks before the hoiday is a good time to get good prices.

When the children were litte we used to boil and color Easter eggs. Easter meant lots of devilled eggs which is a favorite for us. Also leg of lamb is traditional in our family.
