Exterior outlet cover

Hi Folks

I have 2 horses that have discovered the plug / outlet for their trough heater.
Looking for your ideas or DIY covers to stop the livestock from '' pulling the plug ''
I've tried cutting the bottom from a bucket and attaching it over the cover. It worked for about a month.
What are your ideas?

I would build a plywood box to go over it, with hinges and a hidden locking carabiner to keep it closed.

If they found how to play with what you put there then you better find something to totally protect it.
Not sure how tall it is or size but I know I've seen metal boxes on a post that has a door so you can access it.
