Welcome from east Texas! I have 4 Dorper/Katahdin ewes and a Dorper ram. I have 4 lambs that are 3/4 Katahdin and 1/4 Dorper, 2 of which will be added to the ewe flock next month and the other 3 will go to slaughter. I'm a sheep newbie and loving my sheepies!

What is a Dormer?

Hi and thanks. A Dormer is a cross between a Dorset Horn ram and German Merino ewes.

Another Transvaler If I'm allowed to say that! We got a bit tired of the unrest, Eskom and rising crime. DH is a Brit, so we decided to check out our options here and found Ireland is really amazing. I miss S.A. but Ireland has been wonderful to us.

I myself have often thought of moving away....financial pitfalls have kept me here, so I'm still here. Lol

This is a recent photo. The ewe lambs pictured are all under six months old except the large black one who is one year and five months.
