Yes, thanks Babsbag! I am nervous doing her feet and have to quit when she starts kicking too much. I don't want her to hurt herself or the babies. I haven't been out yet this morning to check on her. I hope she's doing better! I want to at least lift those feet to clean and spray them again.

we trim ours late pregnancy, I just wouldn't be too rough on her . She does seem tender footed. Personally, I would use Koppertox or another hoof and heal product and not blue kote, Also you can put LA 200 or similar product like biomycin between her toes.
Normally if it is pregnancy toxemia they walk soft footed in their front feet. but I would consider getting ketone strips and testing her urine, especially since you are cutting back her feed.
meningeal worms will cause them to be weak in their back legs first and then it progresses over time. Just a thought.
I don't consider 1 lb of grain to be enough to cause laminitis problems, I would think you would have to be feeding way more and hotter feed than that. like a bunch of corn.
