I have a Fi Shock Super Shock Model SS-1000. Is this charger a good one to use on Goats. Does anyone else have this model?

I don't have that model, so I can't attest to its strength. My advice is to make sure you have a strong charger to make sure they learn their lesson the first time. A weak charger means that they'll get out because getting the shock is worth the reward of getting out. I found that out the hard way!

O yeah this charger is working great. I installed the posts and fence in about an hour this afternoon and the only goats to test it were the babies who never had to deal with electric before. They learned about it though. The rest of the goats wouldn't go 3 feet near it even with it off.
