I bought a pygmy doe & buck 3 months ago from 2 separate buyers and I think it's a possibility she was bred before I bought her. I started noticing about a week ago some white maybe discharge from her rear but it's not much. I'm a first timer goat owner and wondering if anyone has any ideas how far along she may be. Any opinions or advice to a new owner is greatly appreciated.

Greetings and welcome to BYH from NE TX! So glad you joined us. I know @frustratedearthmother is a pygmy specialist... Maybe she could provide assistance. She may need more details though to do so.There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!

PLEASE put at least your general location in your profile. It could be very important if/when you ask for or offer help or advice. You know, climate issues and such. I recommend at least your state as most folks won't be able to figure out where if you put anything more specific (county, town, street, etc) by itself. Old folks like me will never remember & look there first. To add it, mouse hover over Account top right and a drop down will appear. Click on Personal Details and scan down. You'll see the spot for Location. Then go to the bottom and save changes. Thanks! Hope you enjoy the site!

No, I just notice it randomly while she's laying down or walking eating grass.

I sometimes see white discharge from my 6 month old does and my older does. How old is she?

I'm not 100% sure how old she is, but by guess I'd say a little over a year old. I'm seeing the white stuff everyday, I assume it's discharge, and that she is getting close to kidding, but I'm really not sure as she is my first.

Have you seen any movement on her right side? If she was that pregnant you would see the kids move. If you don't and you don't know if she was bred, then it may just be normal discharge or if bred she is not too close to birthing. Does she have a full udder?

She does have a full udder, and when I bought her 3 months ago she had nothing at all. And I might have seen a little movement not sure. I know she's bred, I guess I'll just walk out one morning and be surprised lol.
