First time banding, guidance needed please

Most of us learned that way! Don't even look at his butt anymore and one day you will find a weird furry thing on the ground and realize that it is the dropped off, withered testes. Unless you have a dog and then you won't find anything. LOL

I once found twin lambs, cold and unresponsive. In a panic, I carried them to the vet, along with milk replacer. He tube fed them. I didn’t know and evidently he didn’t either, that you NEVER feed cold lambs. YOU WARM THEM UP FIRST. They both died in my arms around midnight that night.

We ALL have done stupid things out of ignorance. BYH is a wealth of information, friendly people who like to help others. So you just ask anything you want to know!

Sorry for that loss. Agh. Guess we all start learning somewhere and go from there.
