We have decided to sell most if not all of our Heritage Jacob sheep.
They are quite wonderful but we have 150 sheep and must reduce stock to deal with the increasing cost of feed caused by local drought.
Jacob sheep are a rare, small wool sheep with Black & White Spots and horns.
Even the girls can have two or four horns.
We have close to 5 rams, 4 ram lambs, 20 adult ewes and 6 ewe lambs for sale.
The wool is great for spinning and the sheep make great lawn ornaments.
The low fat meat inherent in Heritage sheep also tastes quite wonderful.
We are developing a strain of miniature Jacobs that make the rams quite handle-able for women owners.
