My daughter and her youngest daughter got my attention deficit disorder. Just called it a scatterbrained daydreamer in my day.

Good news:

Doctor said they will have therapy come by to assess and help Ron with getting out of the bed, restraints will be coming off!


And Ron held a can of Coke, drank it by himself!

Small setback, Ron's back in restraints. He became uncooperative with the nurses, pulled out his IV yesterday. He won't be discharged tomorrow as we were hoping.

They're working on adjusting his meds to reduce the anxiety that triggers frustration, anger. Being in the hospital doesn't help his dementia.

In the morning he is sweet as can be. By 1:30 he gets grouchy.

So sorry to hear this. Hopefully they can get his meds adjusted correctly.
