I never figured to be a widow at 64.

I got about 3 hours of sleep last night. Today I have split my time between phone calls and puttering around the house. I stripped the bed, washed the sheets, folded and put away extra blankets and other linens, then started reorganizing the living room.

Keeping myself busy, yep.

It's doing something outside, sounds like sleet but appears to be melting on contact.

I'd rather have snow.

My chickens stuffed themselves on scrambled eggs with shells...the egg holder was knocked off the table and resulted in nine eggs having cracks.

So...Ron was having what looked like seizures. We called EMS, he went to the ER, and the doctors tried to find out what was causing his flailing. We went home about 4am as there was nothing happening, and he was back in a delirium. He's not known me for several days.

According to the hospice nurse Ron has progressed to a point where everything is starting to shut down. He's being transferred to the palliative ward for tonight, then transferred to a hospice tomorrow.

We knew it was just a matter of time, so it's not a surprise. And his faith tells him where he will be as soon as he dies. ✝️

I'll be around.
So very sorry for you.... hugs and love and prayers for both of you.
I am not that far away if there is anything I can do...

Trick to any and all with sleet and or snow... take your windshield wiper blades and bend them out at the hinge part... they will stick up in the air...away from the windshield.... like when you use the squeegie to wash the windshield... that way they don't get stuck on the windshield and you can use them quicker and not be scraping or "banging them" to get them loose...or tear the actual rubber part of the wiper...
