Carolina is being returned. If I were retired I would keep her, but if I adopted her I would have to crate her all day while I am at work as she's getting into everything. She needs someone paying attention during the day. My son can't do it, he can walk her as needed, but is in and out all day.
I loosened and turned over the dirt on the inside of the run, which was very exciting!
A little later when I went back over to check on the flock Silas was making his encouraging sounds (or "hurry it up!") while the nesting boxes were occupied.
Tomorrow I have a friend coming by with his truck, and am planning on going over to Lowe's (home & garden store) to get a couple sheets of T-11 siding. THEN I should be able to make more progress on the hoop coop construction!
