GMO vs. Mixed feed

One Fine Acre...that is great the pig heart valve was a success!!!! Wonder if there are any other organs in a pig they could do this with???
I'm not a GMO fan because I am ignorant of all the ramifications...but you know, we have been eating GMO food for a long time and just didn't know it.

In all honesty, I am more concerned with some products manufactured in China.

They also use genetically modified cows for heart valve replacement.
My wife used to breed genetically modified pigs at NC State that went to Duke University to use for eye cornea research.
There is also a firm called United Therapeutics building a facility in Research Triangle Park, NC to raise genetically modified pigs to do research on lung transplants. I've read that we are within a few years of being able to do this.
My wife also bred genetically modified lab rats for cancer research. The rats all developed cancer in their salivary glands and were used for pre-clinical drug trials.
