Ok here's my problem.....

My goat's are in 1/4 of and older building, this building was used as a junk place basically til I got old enough, got some goats and took over the barn. We've got most of the barn organized now but its still kinda messy and junky. Anyway my biggest pet peeve is all the darn bird crap everywhere!!! On the walls, in the feeders, in the minerals, I mean all over everything!!!! I am not new to farming at all but I am a neat/clean freak when it comes to my barns (not the house though, lol)! We (my dad and I) were discussing on buying a large roll of plastic to put over the ceiling part of the barn to keep the darn birds from nesting in there, only problem with that is it is going to be pretty pricey since the building is quite large. Anybody have other suggestions? Also, the darn poop is still all over the walls and everything, it's not going to be easy to get the pressure washer down there, not even sure that will be possible since there is no running water other than the creek.....ugh.

Might have been nice of me to mention that, huh. lol Black birds and barn swallows, the barn swallows aren't near as bad as all the darn black birds. Of course there aren't any in there right now since all there babies are big and out of the nest, but in the spring time they are in and out of the barn all day long.

x2 put some sort of netting/small square fencing there. Chicken wire, hardware cloth, etc.
