Goat Newbie

I just joined and am preparing my yard for 2 Nigerian Dwarf doelings. I have never owned goats, but have been researching, reading and watching everything I can find on them. I mapped out my pen area today, and am pricing out materials and making my shopping list. Can't wait to get it done and bring the girls home! I do have chickens and dogs, so this will be a fun addition to the mix.

Hello! Keep us updated on your progress and post pics when they come home. I don't have goats yet, but have wanted them for a long time, and finally decided to get Nigerian Dwarfs in the spring or summer, assuming we can find some. Are you going to milk yours?
