Goat safe grass seed??

I have a number of bare spots in my back yard due to a few small construction projects. Now they are complete I want to plant some grass seed. I have some Kentucky 31 tall fescue that we used last year on the front yard. I understand it's NOT SAFE for goats. Any recomendations, on what grass seed I should use?

are you worried about the grass itself after germination or the seed?

After it grows. My concern is them eating it , I'm concerned for the health of the goats, not the grass.

Babsbag, thank you I read about the tall fescue toxins and as luck would have it the 50 pound bag of seed I HAD from last year was Kentucky 31, which IS a tall fescue mix!
