I have a question about udder attachment. Our goat, Bella (1/2 ND, 1/4 Nubian, 1/4 Lamancha) has a pocket in the front of her udder where it attaches to her belly. I'm thinking that I heard somewhere that that is not good. I checked her when she was pretty empty though. Will that make a difference?

So, my question is, why is it not good? Does it affect her milking. We are currently just milking when her doeling doesn't keep up. This is her first freshening. Our plan was to keep her doeling for future breeding/milking, but don't want to perpetuate a cycle that is not good. Should we not breed her again? What about breeding her daughter?

Thanks for any help!

It should be a smooth attachment. It doesn't hurt anything other than you wouldn't take her into the show ring. No reason to stop breeding her. If she is an FF, then I would want to see what her udder looks like next year anyway.
