That will vary. Show goats will be considerably larger then commercial stock.
Our show buck at 7 months was 175#. Our does are anywhere from 100 - 120#
There can be a few reasons. When you raise show stock you want to push them to grow. So they're fed premium food. They are also either Fullbloods or high percentages.
When you're raising commercial stock for food the only way to make money with them is to raise them on forage. Therefore they grow much slower. They are also usually mixed breed.
From your other posts it sounds like you have a doeling and a young male? Is your male a wether or buck?
On forage and some grain, at that age, my doelings are about 80 pounds. My buck is about 125 and I don't have a wether. Mine are mutts though...I have two 88% boer doelings that take after their nubian blood and a 94% boer buck.
