One of our Does has been diagnosed with a fungal infection at the base of her tail. The Vet said to use anti-fungal shampoo and a toothbrush to clean it up. One week later and no results. I've read about betadine solution and then an anti fungal cream. Does anyone know how much to dilute the betadine solution?

I've never diluted betadine whenever I've used it for anything...so personally I'd just use it straight up.

Athletes foot treatment spray/ointment works great.

I've been using that too. I'm not scrubbing the area every day as she hates that part. I take a soft toothbrush and warm water and scrub with anti fungal shampoo. Then apply The athletes foot cream. then for two days, no scrubbing just betadine and then athletes foot cream. Let me add that she's just come into heat and that make the scrubbing of her tail and butt that much more fun! My daughter ask why I had my face in the goat's butt.
