I'm still trying to figure out what the problem is? Unless of course your kitchen is carpeted. That might be a problem...

The owner of a barn we boarded at once woke up to my horse trying to break in through their patio doors LOL. He had slobbered all over it and was busily trying to open the latch with his lips.

I also put my horse to bed in his stall one night at a barn we boarded at, walked to the barn door, started to close the top door of the dutchdoor only to hear a bunch of munching. All the horses had finished dinner and I went back to look... Pal had unlatched his door, gone to the feed room, and dragged a bag of sweet feed to his stall and was in there munching on sweetfeed LOL... Let's just say he was totally wired for the rest of the evening. We had to throw him out on pasture so he could wind down a bit.

A couple years ago, I'd been having a REALLY bad day at work (I manage a commercial goat farm), one of those days when nothing goes right.

Anyway, I got home and all I wanted to do was have a good, long, hot bath and go to bed and forget the day ever happened.

Well, it was around christmas time, and we had the tree up with presents under it. The first thing I saw when I got home and walked in the front door, was the presents spread across the living room, and most of them were unwrapped. Wrapping paper everywhere.

Then I walked down the hall, and found a trail of goat pebbles ...

I got to the kitchen, and saw that all the fruit had been taken from the fruit bowl, each piece had one and only one bite taken out of it.

And in the middle of the kitchen was the worst thing; a 20L bucket of honey (my dad is a beekeeper) spilled across the entire kitchen floor.

And outside in the back yard, one very sticky but very happy angora goat.

 It's funny as long as it's happening to somebody else.

Oh and lets not forget that linoleum floors are a great way to collect fecal samples! Sometimes I bring them in the kitchen for just that purpose. (don't tell Tina) :hide

Ugh, Griffin's... I went to your website, and I love your place. I have a soft spot for miniature donkeys, although we don't have one yet, we're hoping to get one or two to hang out with our pony in the pasture.

I think I've also found I have an attraction to Jacob sheep, GORGEOUS. I can't wait to get goats, we're going to the local livestock auction next week to see what they have in the ways of goats, they go through from meat to dairy to pet, and start at $25.00 for a bottle baby. We even *finally* have the pasture set up for goats!
