She was born on Thursday.
A surprise as I did not think Goldie was quite that due.
By the time I found her the baby was hypothermic and spent eight hours in the house. She woke up with a vengeance and made so much racket I took her little butt back to her mother who was also making quite the stir.
As of today both are still doing fine.

She is still alive but it seems going thru hypothermia has slowed her down some. She is still frail looking and spindly.

definitely. When my buckling got hypothermia, he couldn't walk very well or even eat his food for 4 days,(we helped him eat and drink) but he did pass away from other unknown causes as well.

We had a doeling this year that had a similar start. She was frail and spindly for the first week or so, but she came around. She's now one of the most active kids in the goat yard. :) Here's hoping things go as well for your baby. :fl

Yesterday she started acting more like a goat kid. Thank you all for the positive thoughts.
