If it was my goat shed, I would put up at least a partial wall on the inside of the studs. When the goats get crazy, or just from over time - they can push out the walls as the boards are on the outside of the studs (from the inside of the shed). Hope that makes sense!:)
It will also protect and preserve the outer walls from manure, urine, etc.
Thanks for the tip. We just replaced all the plywood on the walls so I wouldn't want that to happen. :)

Is this shack big enough for 2 dwarf goats,1 alpine & a nubian female?

Really want to get a female for milk but not sure if this is big enough for all.

At our farm, that shack would be big enough for 10 goats AND the tractor! :gig :gig :gig

Seriously, it looks plenty big to me for another one, presuming they would be out in the yard most of the time. Sheep and goats tend to huddle together in a pile anyways.

I love your Minnesota back yard. What a lovely oasis with the birch trees!

O.k. it's pretty much a done deal! I'll be going to pick up a baby nubian doeling tomorrow. :weee So So Excited! Now i'll always have milk & eggs. LOL

And yes, the goats are outside all day if it's not raining. I let them out to browse in the bush also. :D
