Hello everyone!

I am here to introduce myself and get better acquainted with the members here.

My interests include raising critically endangered heritage breeds of animals. Some I currently own and others I am seeking to purchase.

My hobbies include homesteading, historical reenacting and various other hobbies associated with this lifestyle.

On my land, I grow all sorts of rare heirloom varieties of various foods in addition to raising endangered breeds.
I am always interested in learning from others and hence, here I am.

For the interested, here is a list of the animals I currently have on my land.

American Chinchilla Rabbits
Crème D'Argent Rabbits
Cotton Patch Geese

Here is a list of animals I am looking forward to adding to my land.

American Blue Rabbits - Also known as German Blue Rabbits.
Lilac Rabbits
Blue Vienna Rabbits
White Dorking Chickens
American Saddlebred Horse
American Cream Draft Horses - A team of six for use in historical reenactments.
Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig
Standard Bronze Turkey
Gulf Coast Sheep
East Friesian Sheep
Holstein Friesian Cow
Indian Runner Ducks, Peking Ducks or perhaps another breed. I'm undecided on my variety of duck at the moment.

I also have a long haired miniature dachshund and am on a waiting list to purchase some Puli puppies for training as livestock guardians.

Edit : It seems I forgot to mention my Coturnix Quail and my 10 frame Langstroth beehives.

I would not like to be as busy, so much as I hope to have others busy working on my land.

It is my goal to have a functioning Confederate reenactment camp on my land, which is being transformed into a working plantation.

Very few reenactors have the opportunity to reenact for a living. I thought it would be nice to be able to offer that opportunity to some.

Way up North in Canada, eh? Sorry, I could not resist. :)
