Exploring the pasture
My girlfriend and I are new to goats, and while my uncle has had 2 for over a decade and a neighbor has about a dozen, I don't want to bother them with all the questions and comments all of the time.
I'm not really interested in milk or meat, but I do have about an acre of very dense brush that I dont feel like getting into anytime soon.
We just got our goats a week ago. They are doing well and taunting the dog. I look forward to sharing stories and learning a thing or 3 from some experienced goat owners.
Our ladies from top to bottom:
Blanche: 14 weeks Oberhasli mix
Rose: 10 weeks ND
Dorothy: 2 years, pain in the butt ND
Sofia: 2 years ND may or may not be expecting
