You didn't fail! No one fails when they care enough to have a vet come out and see their animals!

Also don't feel embarrassed if you ask a lot of questions. No good vet will mind answering you.

Glad no pneumonia, but interesting that he did an antibiotic. I think I like that vet. Covering the bases...good. Good price too.

If I had a small number of goats I might not do the vaccine for pneumonia either. But keeping track of 40 goats that share close quarters was just too much work. Also I have to pull them out of the milk line when they are on antibiotics. I would rather just keep them healthy. I have never heard any bad reactions to the vaccine.
