I'm back on the bandwagon with weight loss, but I get bored with food easily, so I thought I'd make a thread geared toward healthy eating. I dont have a recipe to share yet, I'll have to try a few, then I'll contribute.

But, if YOU have one, please add it here!

Oooohh, I am excited to find this site! Weight watcher points included in the recipes for those that are doing the WW way. Recipes seem very versatile.

I'm trying to loose 20 pounds more or less to be lighter weight to train our new pony. Summertime I find it easier, I make alot of stirfry's with lots of vegies, less meat and kabobs served with rice. Salads are fun for lunch, mixed baby greens, blueberries or strawberries (right out of my yard when they are ready!), almonds slivers and a raspberry vinagrette is my fav summer salad. We have a pool and I am in that every nice day exercising.

Buy one of those cuisanart little ice cream makers. I NEED ice cream or frozen yogurt daily. You can use just fruit, yogurt, little sugar or splenda and it's wicked tasty. Leftovers freeze like a rock, but it gives you something healthy to look forward to that still has the "oh, I'm a bad, bad girl" feel to it. Good luck! I'm still waiting for motivation to strike me. Was going to get my bathing suit out, but apparently am not interested in being motivated yet.

Instead of granola, try putting Fiber One cereal in it after it's blended. It makes you feel full longer (or bloated, depending on your perspective!) and has less calories.
