I know she isn’t a steer but I do have a question..so hope it is ok

I have a heifer, she is a May We All Dec 2023 born

She’s currently on Purina Full Range but plan to switch her due to that not being available at my feed store anymore

and Should i be feeding 2 or 3% of her body weight?

I was told either Rival Bold or Base…

What’s better, pros cons etc. Want to get her to her full potential as she has TONS of it.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thank you all

I think it might depend on what her breed is, what your plans for her are & the weather you're having.

My girl got pasture, hay & just enough plain'old sweet feed to train her to come to the barn 2x daily.
She's a jersey-angus X & was to grow up to become a backyard dairy cow. They need way more hay when it's really cold.
