Fantastic pictures Maggiesdad!

I got this one the other day of one of my girls on my orange blossoms.

Man... those are some sweet pics folks! Can barely wait to get mine. I'm seeing all sorts of food sources for them all around my place and some one elses bees are getting to enjoy it all.

That remains to be seen. Like Happy Chooks said, it's critical how much brood they can keep warm. The weak hive definitely isn't foraging as much, but it's taking similar amounts of syrup.

Great pictures! It's great to see your queen laying.

It's currently snowing here, so no hive inspection for me right now.

Holy cow Chooks...didn't you say not too long ago that winter passed you by? And now it's snowing? You must be loving the moisture but preferring it to be in liquid form! We're supposed to get some rain over tonight and through tomorrow. Nothing on the horizon right yet, but I sure hope we get some.

I hope to get some pictures like that of my bees when they get here. I studied that one looking for any signs of varroa and couldn't find anything. Of course, that's GOOD!

Yep, that's CA wacky weather for you. I knew we would get snow still. It was nice and snowed for a bit and made it all pretty, then stopped and it melted. :clap Cool, but beautiful today. It's supposed to be mid 70's by the end of the week.
