New to this site, but have been on BYC for a bit longer. Have mostly been a poultry guy, but recently acquired goats

Welcome from VA. Not a goat person, but have had "show chickens" off and on for over 50 years.... I don't do much on BYC though... we farm.... beef cattle, a few sheep,... have had turkeys, hogs.... have a big garden and still work with dairy farmers...

Welcome from another Virginian. I raise goats! Dairy & meat. Enchanting animals, even with all their truly reported antics. FIRST -- always train them to come to your call !! It will be invaluable when collecting them from escape yep, I can stand in the field, call and all 40 will come to me.

Feed when they come to begin. They always love food.
