'Ello all! Nice to meet ya!
I'm a mother of 5 ages (almost) 9, 7, 5, 3, and 9m. The kids, my husband, and myself live in central FL where we raise Holland Lops, Netherland Dwarfs, Salmon Faverolles and "Easter Egger" chickens and TN Fainting Goats. We also have 2 frogs, 2 Rats, 4 "barn" cats, a husky,a pot bellied pig named "Bailey", a shetland pony, and 2 Spotted Saddle Horses. Hope I didn't forget anyone.
Some how I married a wonderful man who, despite being raised a city slicker, has embraced farm life and helps me to live my dream.
I'm a stay at home Mom and will be starting a new 4H club as the leader this coming fall. Unofficially the club will begin metting next month...but after the leaders class in Aug we can be official YAY.
If it's furry or has feathers I do well...if it's green with leaves and stems not so much but working on that lol. Other than the normal stuff like the dog, cats, and horses everything else is new to our farm in the last year or so. While I had rabbits and such growing up I didn't have the luxury of breeding on the scale (while not large compared to the bun barns I've been to) that I can now.
I'm just a typical country woman who has a chair in front of the chicken coop and would rather sit there with a glass of sweet tea and watch the chicks than watch TV.
I look forward to meeting you all, learning, and sharing.
So once again pleased to meet you!
