Hello everyone! My wife and I recently moved away from the metro area and into rural NE Georgia. Our 'farm' (we are joining the one acre club) currently consists of no animals, yet.

However, I am in the process of fixing this problem. Currently, I'm working on a 10-hole rabbit hutch to start are homestead! Once I finish it, I'll try to figure out how to post some pictures of it.

I figured I would start with rabbits. After our rabbitry is established, I'd like to get some chickens for fresh eggs and the occasional chicken soup. And maybe one day get a couple of dairy goats. Just got to take it one step at a time

The good thing is that most of the acre is open for business. Our house is in the corner, freeing up the rest. I already have a 25'X50' area tilled up getting ready for my spring garden. And I'm looking for some good fruit trees or something to plant as well.
