Your goat appears to look more like a Nigerian Dwarf than a Pygmy in my opinion.

Her body is more "dairy" and less stocky than Pygmies.

i agree with onefineacre, she looks more Nigerian to me too. is she bred? i bet she is so glad you showed up and she missed the barbeque. her lucky day!

@hilarie - Yeah im trying to find another doe so that id have twice a much milk. But its hard to find a cheaper goat other than weathers and bucks, and with the funeral costs its been a bit hard to scrape up the money to get a $100 goat. :confused:

@OneFineAcre - Really? I hope she really is, ive been told that their milk is really rich. I know she was used for milk before but i wasnt really sure about her breed, something just told me they didn't really know what she was.

@goatgurl - She certianlly was happy to see me but for other reasons. Since i have had her i have noticed she does not like any male creature except my uncle (he won her over with treats), but she is tolerant of my nephews when im with them. But no she not been bred, she was kept with some weathers that were going to be eatin also. Shes more lucky that the kids would always play with her and got attached.
