I absolutely love goats! I have loved them since I was a little child. It took me a long time to have a place with enough space to have them. I am still new to the fun and crazy goat life. I recieved my first goat about 3 years ago. I now have 4 goats( no bucks yet) with 1 due to kid in May 2020, I'm excited and nervous about this. It took me a long time to also breed one of my does. I have learned a lot within the last 3years from my dear wonderful friends like milking, milk testing, care, kidding, vaccinations, worming, and so much more. I learn new things all the time. I'm so blessed they take the time to teach me. I'm here to learn, listen, and share. Thank you for accepting me as a member.

Welcome to the forums!! We take care of a lot of goats here in the Philippines, they are usually raised for consumption. Its a common tradition to serve them during a small town fiesta.

Welcome to BYH! I love goats! A friend of mine used to have some when I was younger and I loved milking them and drinking milk strait from the goat (I don't care what anyone says, I loved it!)! Sadly, the friend had to get rid of his goats and move, but I hope to get my own goats someday! I'm glad you got some, good luck with the birth!

We are loose about animal rules in my house. All the goats were healthy and never had any issues so we drank milk fresh from them. Spoke people are really strict around animals but we don't mind much.
