Welcome aboard from Connecticut! I'm getting turkeys for the first time this year (in addition to the chickens and goats I already have), so we can trade wisdom.
Are you getting just one? Will he have company? How old? and intact (billy, or buck) or neutered? (wether)

Well, I can tell you from personal experience: they're like potato chips, it's hard to have just one....:love I guess you've figured out that they need company. One goat alone is sad :idunno Do you know if you want to do dairy or meat? or just pet? I jumped into dairy goats 3 years ago and never looked back. I LOVE my goats....it's a goat rodeo....:barnie
