So, I've stalked around here for a while, replied a few times, but finally decided to introduce myself and my little bunch of animals.

My name is Aimee and i'm from Australia.
I have 4 sheep, Woolimina, Mary, Rose and baby Bailey.
With them is our guard Alpaca, Harry.
And along with the outside animals, we have Teddy, my horse, and a small to medium flock of chickens.
Our inside pets consist of our mini poodle Erica, and fish... lots of fish...

Here is a labelled picture of them

hello Aimee. welcome from south mississippi. nice animals! their beautiful! I noticed the banana trees in the picture. I've been wanting to plant some but did not know if they were toxic to sheep or if they would eat them. what has been your experience with them and the sheep?

:frow Hello Aimee, from NE Texas. It's so nice to have you join us!

I currently have two LaMancha dairy goats, three kids, from last Spring's freshening, and I'm thinking about getting some Katahdin hair sheep, so I will be interested in hearing your experiences with sheep.

I see you have an alpaca, to guard your sheep. We have two Maremma LGDs, and are thrilled with the job they have done guarding our goats and chickens, ducks and geese. We have had them for almost three years and have not lost one animal to predators. Our female, Violet, even guards the sky! If a hawk or vulture flies overhead, she looks up and starts barking until it flies away. :celebrate :love

Thanks everybody!
Eteda - Our sheep and Alpaca have never tried to eat them, but our previous cows always did, and were fine, and our horse constantly munches on them, and enjoys them, so i would assume that sheep would be fine, but i'm not sure.
Devon Violet - So far the sheep are going well, we have only had them for around 2 months, but we have found that they have lots of personality!
Wow! Very impressive that she evens watches the sky, what a good girl! Harry, the alpaca, is mainly here to keep away all the foxes from the lambs, as we have a far few around here!

Welcome @AimeeDx from Indiana. Wow! You did wait a while to stop being a recluse. Glad you joined in and introduced yourself. Your seasons are opposite ours as I remember, right? We're going into Autumn, so you must be going into Spring?
I guess thst means your hurricane season is opposite ours too? The 'H' word here has been used a lot lately, and has become a very bad word. It appears there is still a lot of tropical storms brewing in the Atlantic and by the Caribbean. So, my question is, did you already have a bad season, and sending these to us, or do you need to be prepared for what's coming? Now, since you are in the Pacific, does that mean uou get typhoons? Sorry this turned into a hurricane post :th

Welcome to BYH!

Welcome from NE Texas! I live about an hour from @Devonviolet and about 1 1/2 hours from @Latestarter. We get together every so often, visit and eat a lot. LOL

I have hair sheep also and really love them. They are easy to care for, sweet personalities and the lamb is delicious! Your sheep look beautiful and healthy!
