Greetings,
I just found out about this site from BYC, it doesn't look that different but I'm still a little confused about some stuff but oh well
I don't really know how I should introduce myself...

I live in Sweden, :weee
On the farm, we have pigs, sheep, horses, chickens, ducks and geese
What we'll eventually add to the farm are;
Emus, alpacas, goats, llamas, mandarin ducks, pheasants, bunnies and double the amount of waterfowl and chickens we already have!
And someday I hope we can get a few cows, most likely Scottish highland cattle.

+ I'm a teen

Welcome to BYH from Texas! I currently only have Katahdin hair sheep and my livestock guard dogs.

You have quite a farm! What kind of sheep do you have? I’m always interested in livestock in other countries. So many animals and breeds are the same, and so many are vastly different.

I’m so glad you joined. We like pictures, just so you know, so feel free to post all you want.

Gotland sheep and 'värmlands får', I don't study about sheep in english, so breeds are hard for me.. but googling the 2 works fine ! I have 50 sheep currently, but they're all mixed breeds due to different breeds were always in the same flock. We've never had a problem with it though :love
What interesting breed of sheep you have! Another one I'll be studying on :weee

What breeds are your LGD's?

Hi and :welcome. As a person with highland cattle I can tell you they are awesome and also terrifying. They're very protective of there calf's. So protective that they will charge the fence if you walk to close, but they are also a really fun type of cattle to own!😀

My LGDs are Anatolians. I started with Great Pyrenees because they are a friendlier breed. Anatolians are more stubborn, not as friendly, but are wonderful dogs. I love them! My male is half Anatolian and smaller than my female, both are awesome guard dogs.

Post pictures of your sheep! Do you spin the wool? Knit or crochet?
