Exploring the pasture
My name is Rebecca. I began raising chickens 8 months ago. Monday I will get my first rabbits. 2 does and a Buck. They are 2 years old. We are what some might consider a micro farm. We have .57 acres and plan to use most of the space for raising food for us and our animals. The animals will provide food for us as well. Aside from dogs and cats, I have never raised animals prior to the birds.
To start out, I want to feed my rabbits from what I grow primarily. I'm trying to get away from commercial feeds and live sustainably.
